About The Position
Perianesthesia setting consists of the Day Surgery and PACU. Performs the function of a Perianesthesia Patient Care technician in carrying out all assignments under the direction of an RN in Day Surgery and/or PACU. Is accountable for all patient care he/she gives in the Perianesthesia setting. Is responsible for adhering to all standards of Nursing Practice and for promoting teamwork among colleagues through collaboration and respect.
Requirements
- High school graduate
- Effective verbal and written skills
- Effective customer service
- Computer keyboard skills
- Healthcare Provider CPR certification
Nice To Haves
- Completion of nursing assistant certification training and competency exams as approved by the State Board of Health.
- Completion of Nursing Fundamentals Course, EMT Course, or Medical Assistant Course.
- One year of healthcare experience preferred
- Certified Nursing Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant or EMT Certification
