The Payroll & Timekeeping Manager will be responsible for the entire payroll process, including managing timekeeping systems, overseeing payroll transactions, maintaining payroll software, collaborating with HR and other accounting staff, and resolving payroll-related issues that may arise for US and Puerto Rico employees. Responsible to build and motivate a team of payroll analysts, and payroll/timekeeping vendors to ensure employees are paid accurately, on time, and in accordance with company policy and government regulations. Create standard operating procedures for payroll administration and ensure payroll and timekeeping systems comply with company policy and all statutory requirements. Measure and improve performance against defined delivery and quality standards. Analyze, audit, reconcile, and resolve complex payroll related issues to ensure smooth payroll processing. Ensure payroll reporting and payments are compliant with generally accepted accounting principles, and applicable regulations. Respond to auditing and regulatory inquiries Research and interpret regulatory requirements and resolves tax, withholding, and garnishment issues for payroll processing. Work with system programmers and third-party vendors to deliver payroll and timekeeping system solutions Monitor vendor performance against contractual obligations and pre-defined service level agreements. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 5 years relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years prior relevant experience

  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures and best practices
  • Experience with Payroll and HR Information systems and technologies – ADP Global View & Workday HRIS preferred
  • Support work through matrixed employee teams and / or vendors who are not direct reports
  • Develop and sustain relationships and alliances with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong financial acumen for strategic business alignment
