Whirlpool is seeking a qualified candidate for our Payroll Specialist, Human Resources, (Senior Representative, Payroll) role to join our Global Human Resources organization. This role will be onsite at our Global Headquarters in Benton Harbor, MI. In this role, you will support the data maintenance activities for the Whirlpool U.S. payroll team by performing data entry, mass data loads, and other approved transactional requests related to payroll processing.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of experience in Payroll, Timekeeping or Data Entry

Responsibilities

  • Maintain payroll data in the Whirlpool SAP payroll system by updating the applicable info-types entries and audit/verify results to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Maintain confidentiality in dealing with employee records and payroll information with a high degree of quality and accuracy
  • Support case management efforts as needed for payroll inquiries and provide data maintenance entries to resolve case inquiries and requests
  • Review and action payroll-related cases by agreed service levels in the Service Now case management system
  • Monitor and analyze payroll interface errors to determine appropriate action
  • Ensure adherence to company, federal, state, local and payroll-related policies are met
  • Participate in the development and production of reports for audits and data accuracy
  • Prioritize competing requests while ensuring payroll deadlines are met
  • Participate in ad hoc activities as needed (i.e. testing, metric gathering, reporting, special project support, etc.)
  • Supporting the ongoing development and maintenance of documentation (e.g., Standard OperatingProcedures, Desk Top Procedures) to ensure complete, accurate, and up-to-date depiction of processes
  • Support data maintenance testing efforts for SAP enhancements and updates
