About The Position

In the world of pizza, Grimaldi’s is an institution that has garnered more
awards than any other pizzeria in the world. Using only the freshest
ingredients, "secret recipe" sauce, homemade mozzarella cheese, and dough,
Grimaldi's serves traditional coal-fired brick oven pizzas, calzones, house-made
salads, and desserts in an upscale yet casual, family-oriented pizzeria.

Five Star Diamond Award from the Academy of Hospitality Sciences three years in
a row.

Grimaldi’s is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist who will help process
bi-weekly payroll for over 2,200 restaurant staff throughout the country. The
right candidate will have at least four years of full-cycle, multi-state payroll
experience.

Requirements

• 4 years of full-cycle, multi-state payroll experience.
• Experience working with ADP Lyric Software is preferred, but not required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process multi-state payroll for multiple locations each week.
• Balance and audit payroll entries, validate hours, and load batches with accurate submittal.
• Process stop payments, manual checks, and check reversals.
• Respond to emails for verifications of employment, garnishments, voicemails, and unemployment claims.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Field Operations and provide strong customer service
• Assist active and terminated employees with any payroll-related questions and W2s.
• Balance workload with additional payroll-related projects.
• Create process documentation.
• Respond to any internal department inquiries.
