Currently seeking a hybrid Payroll Specialist to support our West Region locations. You will be a critical team member and key partner between onsite operations, management and employee services. The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for processing the company's payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. This position involves calculating employee earnings, deductions, and taxes, as well as maintaining payroll records and responding to onsite employee inquiries.

Requirements

  • 2-5+ years of experience in payroll processing or a related role
  • 1+ years of experience in ADP is required
  • Service Titan software experience is highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of payroll practices, regulations, and tax laws.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to work overtime during peak payroll periods
  • Position is hybrid. Candidate must live in Denver Area and be able to work onsite in an office environment 2-3 days a week

Nice To Haves

  • Service Titan software experience is highly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Process weekly, multi‑state payroll for 1,100+ employees, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Calculate, review, and verify the regular rate of pay for overtime, sick pay, and other applicable earnings in accordance with FLSA requirements
  • Partner closely with site General Managers, Timekeepers, and site payroll support staff to validate time data and ensure on‑time payroll submission
  • Manage and process final paychecks for both voluntary and involuntary separations, meeting all state‑specific final pay deadlines
  • Coordinate with Human Resources regarding final pay, new hire pay setup, corrections, and off‑cycle payments as needed
  • Respond to payroll‑related inquiries from employees and managers, including questions regarding pay, deductions, garnishments, taxes, and benefit withholdings
  • Administer and maintain garnishments, child support orders, tax levies, and benefit deductions, ensuring accurate and compliant processing
  • Oversee and manage the time and attendance cycle at a regional level within the HRIS system, including timecard audits and issue resolution
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and data integrity while handling sensitive payroll and employee information
