About The Position

We’re looking for motivated, engaged people to help make everyone’s journeys better. The Payroll Supervisor is responsible for managing all functions of an assigned payroll department. This includes the preparation of documents and information required for processing of payroll; the filing and logging of information stored in personnel files; disbursement of payroll on a periodic basis and ensuring information is held in a confidential manner. Salary Range: $60,000 - $63,000 Must be able to pass a 20yr Background check through the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) fingerprint-based Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) process at Harry Reid International Airport.

Requirements

  • High school diploma is required
  • 4 years of in-house payroll processing experience in a multi-company, multi-state environment
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel and Word skills
  • Desired experience in Microsoft Office Suite as well as Kronos, Kronos Workforce, and/ or UltiPro software.
  • Supervisory skills.
  • Ability to communicate orally with subordinates to explain and direct work assignments.
  • Ability to communicate with employees to negotiate conflicts and explain payroll processes.
  • Ability to communicate with management orally and in writing.
  • Must be able to pass a 20yr Background check through the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) fingerprint-based Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) process at Harry Reid International Airport.

Nice To Haves

  • 4 years of experience in Payroll or Human Resources is preferred
  • Experience with Kronos, Workday and UltiPro is preferred
  • Bi-lingual skills a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Process manual checks as required.
  • Maintain payroll records, process approved payroll record changes.
  • Answer and/or research payroll inquiries from employees and managers.
  • Perform payroll reconciliations.
  • Daily data entry of payroll information.
  • Processes operating units payroll each week using company systems and methods
  • Calculates prior payment adjustments as needed to reflect regular pay and overtime pay
  • Collects and enters daily timesheets for missed punches approved by management as appropriate.
  • Completes payroll reports for record-keeping purposes and managerial review
  • Researches and communicates to management as appropriate regarding required verifications of hours worked and breaks.
  • Creates payroll requests/tickets for special payments such as anniversary awards and employee of the month.
  • Participates in the “Employee Resource Center” by being regularly available to answer employee questions about wages, deductions, attendance, and time records
  • Performs other administrative duties as assigned
  • Must be able to work Saturday.
