About The Position

The Pensacola Christian Academy Music Office Assistant assists the PCA Music Coordinator and music faculty by completing day-to-day office clerical jobs, designing music programs, and managing music enrollments. Ideal candidates must be born-again Christians and must be dedicated to training young people for serving God; and must desire to educate students based on biblical values and be committed to excellence as a Christian educator who glorifies Christ as the source of all wisdom and knowledge. We reserve the right to fill this role at a higher/lower grade level based on ministry needs. An assessment may be required to be considered for this position. Responsibilities

  • Assist PCA Music Coordinator/Music Faculty
  • Compile schedules, reports, and paperwork for faculty as needed.
  • Submit Maintenance and HVAC requests.
  • Coordinate communications between the Music Coordinator and music faculty as well as the Music Suite and ESD/front office/classroom teachers/college offices.
  • Occasionally substitute in music lessons.
  • Provide Clerical Support
  • Process incoming/outgoing phone calls with excellent customer service.
  • Sort and deliver all Music Suite mail.
  • Order and organize office supplies as needed.
  • Manage time sheets/scans for Music Faculty and GA's.
  • Dictate meeting notes and memos.
  • Assist Front Office as needed.
  • Coordinate Recital and Concert Programs
  • Collect information, type, proof, and send Recital and Concert Programs to print.
  • Ensure that each program has accurate content and an attractive layout.
  • Manage Music Enrollments
  • Process and maintain PCA Music Enrollments.
  • Communicate lesson information and update group rosters as students drop or add enrollments.
