Pediatric Home Health Nurse (RN/LPN) — Broward (Plantation • Miramar • Coral Springs) $26–$38/hr | Weekly Pay (W2) | Flexible 8s & 12s | 1:1 Pediatric Care Family First Homecare is hiring RNs and LPNs for 1:1 pediatric home health cases in Broward County (Plantation, Miramar, Coral Springs). If you want consistent hours, supportive leadership, and meaningful work with medically complex kids—this is for you. Pay (based on acuity/case) Low acuity (G-tube): $26–$31/hr High acuity (Trach/Vent): $30–$35+/hr We confirm your exact rate before you accept a case/shift. What you’ll love Flexible scheduling: 8-hour and 12-hour shifts available Days, nights, and weekends available 1:1 patient care (no facility ratios) Hands-on training + patient-specific orientation 24/7 clinical/management support Weekly pay (W2) Referral bonuses + access to CE courses Benefits may include medical/dental/vision, 401(k), PTO (varies by eligibility) What you’ll do Provide in-home skilled nursing care for pediatric patients Support care needs such as G-tube/enteral feeds, tracheostomy care, and ventilator support (case-dependent) Document care per plan of care and company policy Communicate changes/concerns to clinical leadership promptly Requirements Active Florida RN or LPN license (unencumbered) Current CPR/BLS Ability to pass background screening and complete onboarding health requirements (TB/Hep B per onboarding) Schedule Flexible: 8s and 12s Opportunities across Plantation, Miramar, and Coral Springs .KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Accountable for providing care that is based on licensure/certification within the scope of practice Maintains an updated clinical record on each patient at all times, meeting required deadlines for documentation Evaluates the effectiveness of nursing service to the patient and family on an ongoing basis Consults with physicians concerning alterations of patient care plans, documentation of changes in patient care and reports all changes in care to the nurse supervisor Supports FFHC’s mission by mentoring and/or coaching new employees during patient specific orientations Educates patients and their caregivers on topics related to patients' care needs Participates in FFHC Quality Assurance, Performance Improvement program (QAPI) as requested Continually strives to improve his/her nursing care skills Attends and/or completes all mandatory training/ in-services as assigned Submits required personnel file documentation in a timely manner Adheres to FFHC compliance and ethics expectations Maintains patient and family confidentiality Maintains professional, supportive, and responsive interpersonal communication skills Performs other duties as assigned ROLE QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED LPN/LVN Nursing Degree. Unencumbered LPN/LVN License in the state of employment or Multi-State license through the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact where recognized. 1 years of demonstrated experience Valid driver license with proof of insurance in applicable states Clear background screening Working knowledge of Nurse Practice Acts Valid and current CPR card/certificate with in person instructor led hands on skills check Clear Hep B Screening in applicable states Clear TB Screening in applicable states PREFERRED: STATE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS: Florida: KEY COMPETENCIES The ability to read and communicate in English both verbally and in writing. WORKING CONDITIONS/EQUIPMENT USE Work is performed in the patients home - not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions. Training may be performed in an office setting. Must be able to lift up to thirty five pounds (35) pounds without an assisted lifting device. Requirements

  • Active Florida RN or LPN license (unencumbered)
  • Current CPR/BLS
  • Ability to pass background screening and complete onboarding health requirements (TB/Hep B per onboarding)
