Pediatrix Medical Group, in collaboration with Mercy Health, is seeking Board‑Certified/Board‑Eligible Pediatric Hospitalists to join our growing newborn care team in Ohio. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide high‑quality newborn nursery care within a respected, community‑focused health system. As a Pediatric Hospitalist, you will deliver comprehensive care to newborns in the well‑baby nursery while working closely with obstetric, nursing, and neonatal teams to support healthy starts and smooth transitions home. Responsibilities

  • Provide newborn nursery coverage, including exams, admissions, and discharge planning
  • Collaborate with OB/GYN providers, neonatologists, nursing teams, and lactation consultants
  • Participate in delivery room care as needed for newborn stabilization
  • Support a family‑centered approach, including parental education and care coordination
  • Engage in quality and safety initiatives aligned with Pediatrix standards
  • Document care in alignment with hospital policies and regulatory requirements
