About The Position

The Opportunity As a People Data Analyst on the Workhuman HX team, you’ll join a vibrant, mission-driven team that helps organizations better understand, recognize, and support their people. In this role, you’ll focus on bringing workforce insight by translating complex workforce data into compelling stories and actionable recommendations. You’ll be a key bridge between advanced analytics and our leaders —ensuring insights don’t just live in dashboards but drive meaningful organizational outcomes. Requirements

  • HR/People analytics experience: Demonstrated experience working with HR data (e.g., engagement surveys, retention, turnover, performance, recognition, DEI, or other people-related metrics) and applying analytics in organizational or workplace contexts.
  • Analytical foundation: Proficiency in data manipulation and visualization tools such as SQL, Excel, Tableau, Looker, Quicksight, or Power BI.
  • Consulting mindset: Ability to work directly with customers, understand their business questions, and deliver clear, actionable recommendations rooted in people data.
  • Data storytelling: Skill in translating workforce insights into compelling narratives that resonate with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaboration skills: Comfort working with cross-functional teams and clients, with strong interpersonal and presentation abilities.
  • Quality focus: Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate, polished work to executive-level audiences.

Nice To Haves

  • I/O psychology knowledge: Understanding of organizational psychology principles, employee motivation theories, workplace behavior patterns, and HR metrics is preferred.
  • Educational foundation: Advanced degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Organizational Behavior, Human Resources, Social Sciences (Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology), Statistics, Data Science, or related field is preferred.
