Position Details Internship Program Period: 6/1/2026 - 8/7/2026 Full-Time; temporary w/ no benefits Hybrid Location: Yes Energy Boulder, CO office Hourly Rate Range: $19.00/hr - 1st year Intern $20.00/hr - 2nd year Intern $21.00/hr - 3rd year Intern $22.00/hr - 4th year Intern Reports to: Senior Director, People Operations The intern will learn and be exposed to Fundamentals of People Operations within a high-growth SaaS company How core HR processes (onboarding, employee lifecycle, engagement, and performance management) are structured and maintained How People initiatives support business growth, leadership effectiveness, and organizational alignment An introduction to employee experience measurement, including engagement surveys and pulse feedback People analytics fundamentals, including headcount reporting, turnover metrics and basic workforce data analysis The importance of data accuracy, documentation, and confidentiality in HR systems Introductory exposure to HR systems and tools (ADP payroll, Lattice engagement and Greenhouse recruiting) The role of People Operations in supporting recruiting coordination and candidate experience The behind-the-scenes processes that ensure compliance, consistency, and a strong employee experience Project Work Your official project depends on what skills you have and what skills you are looking to develop. They could include the following: Support employee engagement initiatives by assisting with survey administration, data organization, and basic analysis of results Assist with onboarding process improvements, including documentation, resource development, and experience mapping Help document and streamline core People Operations processes to improve clarity and scalability Assist with recruiting coordination and candidate experience initiatives
