About The Position

The People Partner executes the People Strategy for the Philips manufacturing site in Reedsville, Pennsylvania. The role is part of the global People function and partners closely with the local Manufacturing Management Team and People leaders to enable safe, effective, and engaged manufacturing operations. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will ensure that people strategies, workforce plans, and employee relations practices are aligned with business priorities, global People frameworks, and local labor legislation. In addition, the role combines strategic insight with strong hands‑on execution at site level and influences outcomes through professional expertise, coaching, and collaboration.

Requirements

  • You have 5+ years of experience in People Partnering, HR Business Partnering, or similar roles, preferably within a manufacturing, operational, or industrial environment, supported by a relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, People Management, Change Management, or a related field.
  • Your skills include strong expertise in employee and labor relations, with hands-on application of labor law and internal policies
  • the ability to coach and influence leaders without formal authority while navigating complex, sensitive people topics with confidence, integrity, and sound judgment
  • a blend of business acumen with practical execution, translating strategy and frameworks into effective site-level people solutions.
  • You have a Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
  • You're an excellent, clear, and credible communicator who builds trust with stakeholders in a regulated, fast-paced operational environment.
  • You work autonomously, manage complexity and ambiguity effectively, and collaborate well within a global People organization.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Manufacturing Management Team and People leaders to develop, engage, and retain talent at the site.
  • Drive workforce planning and core site people processes, including staffing plans, talent and performance management, engagement, holiday balances, and compensation and benefits, ensuring alignment with business needs and local market competitiveness.
  • Provide end-to-end support on employee relations matters, including absence and sick leave, disciplinary and grievance cases, performance improvement plans, and investigations.
  • You ensure consistent, fair, and timely case management in line with local labor laws, internal policies, and best practices. As the labor relations subject matter expert, you engage with unions (where applicable) and internal/external audit stakeholders to build constructive relationships and deliver compliant outcomes.
