About The Position

The People Partner provides hands-on HR support across employee relations, policy administration, onboarding, offboarding, and leadership guidance. The People Partner closely with managers and leaders to ensure consistent policy application, effective communication, and positive employee experience. This position requires strong judgment, discretion, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 7+years of experience in an HR Partner role (or similar HR support role)
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, Psychology or other related field
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, employee relations, and compliance
  • Ability to interact confidently and professionally with senior leaders
  • Experience supporting remote or hybrid teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of discretion, integrity, and sound judgment
  • Self-directed with the ability to manage priorities independently
  • Comfort operating in a dynamic, evolving environment
  • Influencing key decision makers and providing data and insight to help deliver outcomes
  • Understands internal clients' needs and delivers tailored talent solutions that align with team goals.
  • Experience building culture or engagement initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Victor, NY office and the Operations Business Unit
  • Partner with managers and leaders on workforce needs on people-related decisions and anticipate issues before escalation.
  • Build strong working relationships across the Operations Business Unit
  • Maintain and administer core People policies & procedures
  • Interpret and apply policies consistently and in compliance with applicable laws
  • Ensure workforce actions are properly documented and aligned with internal and statutory requirements
  • Advise managers on performance management, employee relations cases, conflict resolution, and corrective action
  • Prepare and maintain employee relations documentation, including warnings, performance improvement plans, and expectation letters
  • Conduct and assist investigations and follow-up actions as needed
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities in partnership with IT and Operations
  • Ensure timely system access, equipment setup, communications, and access removal for onsite and remote employees
  • Support employees and leaders through transitions with professionalism and clarity
  • Deliver clear, timely, and professional communications as needed
  • Maintain a visible and accessible presence for employees
  • Support consistent messaging across onsite and remote teams
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors supporting the People team, facilities, and security
  • Identify and address issues impacting the employee experience, escalating as appropriate
