More about our team Our 24-hour pharmacy offers opportunities to perform clinical pharmacy services for patients in various departments of the hospital, including ICU, PCU/Cardiac, and the Emergency Department. Requirements
- Applicants should have a bachelor's degree and a current state Pharmacy license.
- Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Nice To Haves
- Hospital training during two years of Radiologic Technologist program.
- Experience in other x-ray departments, clinics, or medical offices highly desired.
- Must be a member of American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or registry eligible and maintain registry once received.
- Desirable to belong to national, state and/or local societies.
Responsibilities
- Manages drug therapy protocols as a part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Reviews, interprets and evaluates medication orders to identify, prevent and resolve potential or actual drug related problems.
- Provides drug information and education to medical staff, healthcare professionals, and patients, and pharmacy students.
- Documents interventions and their outcomes for use in drug therapy quality improvement efforts.
- Evaluates medication orders for accuracy and completeness prior to order entry.
- Checks for accuracy after filling by technicians.
