About the Role As a Pharmacy Technician, you’ll support patients and providers by managing prescription intake and clarification. This role is phone- and computer-based, working closely with doctors’ offices and patients to ensure prescriptions are accurate and processed efficiently. Our facilities are closed to the public, providing a secure and focused work environment.
Requirements
- Work Location: Work-from-home position; must reside within 75 miles of Memphis, TN. Mississippi and Arkansas residents must work onsite
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Active Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB or NHA)
- Active Tennessee Pharmacy Technician License
- Reliable wired internet connection (minimum 10 Mbps)
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, internet, and email use
- Dedicated, quiet home workspace
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Basic math proficiency
- Note: A wired Ethernet connection is required. Mobile hotspots or wireless-only connections are not permitted. You may need to purchase an Ethernet cable depending on your setup.
- If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred
- Previous call center experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Answer inbound calls from physician offices
- Take and document verbal prescriptions
- Accurately enter prescription data into pharmacy systems
- Respond to physician and patient inquiries
- Clarify prescription details (dosage, quantity, directions)
- Manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
