About The Position

Are you an experienced inpatient Physical Therapist who is looking to transition to a Nationally Recognized Hospital? If so, Atlantic Health is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist for the Inpatient PT Department at Morristown Medical Center, which treats patients throughout the hospital. If you are a PT with acute hospital experience and need some flexibility, we do have shifts available, including a “late” shift of 12p-8p one day every several weeks for ortho. The ideal candidate will have experience in working in a large acute care hospital and be a team player who will provide exceptional care to our patients. Principal Accountabilities: Essential functions include patient evaluation, establishing plans of care and treatment programs, providing interventions, providing patient and family education, documenting interventions, and billing appropriately. Supports Lead Clinicians in competency development and implementation. Participates in the orientation of new staff members, serves as a clinical instructor for students, exercises independent judgement of moderately complex cases and with minimal to no supervision. Has ability to perform one day late shift rotations 12-8pm.

Requirements

  • New Jersey License to practice Physical Therapy.
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy academic program

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Acute Care in large academic medical setting. 0-4 years experience is preferred
  • Preference given to candidates that have completed a successful clinical affiliation with Atlantic Health.
  • Preference given to candidates with Board Certification as Specialist in an area suitable for care in an acute care setting.
