About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to provide comprehensive rehabilitation care for adult and pediatric patients in an inpatient setting. The therapist will evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, and implement therapeutic programs designed to restore function, improve mobility, and prevent disability.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Massachusetts.
Current BLS certification.
Strong communication, documentation, and patient care skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

Nice To Haves

Specialist certification in a focused clinical area.
Experience serving as a clinical resource and assisting with specialty program development.

Responsibilities

Evaluate new patients and develop measurable treatment goals and individualized care plans.
Perform diagnostic assessments of muscle, nerve, joint, and functional abilities.
Implement appropriate physical therapy treatment modalities and adjust care plans based on patient progress.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, education, and treatment outcomes.
Communicate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams regarding patient progress and discharge planning.
Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and care plans to continue after treatment.
Supervise and provide guidance to Physical Therapist Assistants, aides, and students.
Maintain compliance with departmental policies, quality improvement initiatives, and safety standards.
Participate in team meetings, professional development programs, and training sessions.
Maintain daily records of patient activities and related documentation.
