About The Position

Placements Liaison III in Vendor Relations, is responsible for managing the operational processes related to background checks and compliance verification for clinical sites and learners. This role builds and maintains the background check platforms, investigates vendor requirements, and ensures that all processes meet regulatory and institutional standards. The Placements Liaison III also provides support to ensure consistent onboarding and placement processes across the experiential learning network.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Education, or a related field experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 3–4 years’ experience in clinical placement coordination, compliance management, or related administrative role.
  • Demonstrated experience managing background check platforms or compliance systems.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, and SharePoint.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proven ability to train or mentor staff in operational and compliance processes.

Responsibilities

  • Build, manage, and maintain background check platforms for clinical placements, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing.
  • Research, evaluate, and implement vendor background check requirements and best practices to maintain compliance with institutional policies and legal regulations.
  • Support the onboarding of new and reactivated clinical sites by providing expertise in compliance, credentialing, and background verification processes.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to Placements Liaison I and II staff regarding compliance, background checks, and site onboarding procedures.
  • Track and report compliance and background check completion metrics using CRM, SharePoint, and internal reporting tools.
  • Collaborate with Academic Operations, Credentialing, and Faculty to address complex placement and compliance issues.
  • Update training materials and standard operating procedures related to background checks and site compliance, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to optimize background check workflows and enhance site and learner satisfaction.
