About The Position

This position is responsible for assisting with all administrative tasks related to maintaining a continuous manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent work experience.
  • Five years experience in Office Management/Standard Cost
  • PC skills with proficiency in Microsoft
  • Previous SAP experience.
  • Strong administrative and communication
  • Ability to analyze a Manufacturing Cost
  • Recognize and implement Cost
  • Assist Department Managers with cost information to better manage their departments.
  • Must be self-directed.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the initiative and ability to resolve issues; organized, detail-oriented and able to perform multiple tasks with changing
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and a positive customer service approach.

Responsibilities

  • General administration duties including greeting visitors, routing phone calls, keeping an organized front office, support and participation with company sponsored meetings and functions.
  • Accounting activities including billing, accounts payable, cost reporting, month- end closing, and payroll processing.
  • Office administration activities including order entry, monitoring on-line inventory, general secretarial, and miscellaneous reporting of budget, maintenance and production.
  • Monitoring accounts payable information within SAP, including processing payment to vendors, initiating and maintaining purchase orders, transfer invoices,
  • Responsible for the accuracy of production data within SAP.
  • Assist in budget planning and preparation of financial reports, including variance letters, month-end closings, freight reconciliation and participation in the annual budget forecasting
  • Interface with supplies and purchasing of raw materials and packaging items, including initiating and maintaining purchase orders within SAP and SRM along with blanket releases, appropriation and material requests.
  • Process vendor set up; maintain tax exemption certificates, purchase order contracts and certificates of
  • Work with other department heads for any special analysis of their department’s costs.
  • Maintain plant files in accordance with filing requirements and retention schedule.
  • Assist the HR Manager with all HR administrative functions related to hiring, benefits, wages and plant
  • Assist the EHS Manager with Safety & Environment administrative functions related to injury prevention, onboarding, audits, safety meetings and meeting scheduling.
