Key Responsibilities Cut, shape, and assemble plastic materials and components using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication machinery. Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, machining instructions, and other detailed written or verbal instructions to execute work accurately. Inspect completed parts for accuracy, quality, and conformance to design specifications. Perform finishing operations such as sanding, trimming, drilling, or bonding as required. Operate shop equipment safely, including saws, routers, heat benders, and other fabrication tools. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with company standards. Collaborate with engineers and production teams to troubleshoot issues and support continuous improvement efforts. Document production activities, material usage, and completed work as required. Adhere to all safety protocols, PPE requirements, and quality procedures. Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent. Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand and power tools. Ability to read and interpret drawings and written instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high‑quality work. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Preferred Prior experience in plastic fabrication, machining, manufacturing, or related fields. Familiarity with plastic materials and their properties (e.g., acrylic, polycarbonate, PVC).
