Platform Product Manager
About The Position
Distyl AI is seeking a Platform Product Manager to help build and scale the internal platform including verticalization that powers our enterprise AI deployments. You will work at the intersection of AI infrastructure, developer experience, and enterprise software, partnering closely with engineers, forward-deployed teams, and customers to shape the systems that enable rapid delivery of production AI solutions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in high-ownership environments, enjoys working on technically complex systems, and wants to shape how AI platforms are built and deployed at enterprise scale. You will define the roadmap for critical platform capabilities—ranging from LLM infrastructure and evaluation frameworks to internal tooling and developer workflows—that accelerate how Distyl delivers value to its customers.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in product management, technical product management, or platform product roles.
- Experience working on developer platforms, infrastructure products, or internal tooling.
- Strong technical fluency and ability to collaborate closely with engineering teams.
- Experience defining product requirements for complex technical systems.
- Ability to operate in fast-moving environments with high ownership and ambiguity.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate between technical teams and business stakeholders.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working on AI/ML platforms, LLM systems, or data infrastructure.
- Background in software engineering, data engineering, or technical architecture.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale platforms or developer ecosystems.
- Familiarity with modern AI tooling, model deployment workflows, and evaluation frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the product roadmap for Distyl’s internal AI platform, including vertical products ensuring it supports both internal teams and enterprise deployments.
- Partner closely with platform engineers, forward-deployed engineers, AI researchers and Customers to translate real-world use cases into scalable platform capabilities.
- Identify opportunities to turn one-off customer solutions into reusable product features.
- Prioritize development of platform components such as: AI model orchestration agent frameworks evaluation pipelines developer tooling enterprise data integrations
- Gather feedback from internal teams and enterprise clients to improve developer experience and system reliability.
- Define clear product requirements, success metrics, and technical specifications for platform capabilities.
- Ensure the platform enables fast, reliable, and secure AI deployments for enterprise customers.
- Collaborate with leadership to align platform investments with Distyl’s strategic goals.
