About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Plumbing Manager to lead and grow a high‑performing residential plumbing department at our partner location near Fort Wayne, Indiana. This is a hands‑on leadership role for a proven operations leader who understands how to scale residential service teams, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and develop strong technicians and supervisors. What You’ll Do: Lead day‑to‑day operations for the residential plumbing department, including field technicians and support staff Partner closely with the General Manager to achieve revenue, margin, and operational performance goals Collaborate with Dispatch to optimize scheduling, route efficiency, capacity planning, and daily productivity Ensure all plumbing work meets company quality standards, safety requirements, and brand expectations Coach, mentor, and develop plumbing technicians through regular performance feedback and training Support recruiting, onboarding, and retention of top residential plumbing talent Handle escalated customer issues with professionalism, urgency, and a solutions‑focused mindset Maintain a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards and company policies Continuously improve processes, workflows, and customer experience across the plumbing operation

Requirements

  • 3+ years of management or leadership experience running a residential plumbing department
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop residential service plumbers and field teams
  • Strong understanding of residential service operations, dispatching, pricing, and workflow optimization
  • Experience managing KPIs such as revenue, labor efficiency, average ticket, callbacks, and customer satisfaction
  • Data‑driven decision‑maker with strong problem‑solving and communication skills
  • Comfortable working in the field as needed to support technicians and customers

Nice To Haves

  • Journeyman or Master Plumbing background
  • Experience scaling or modernizing residential plumbing operations
  • Familiarity with multi‑location or high‑growth home services environments
