Point of Care Coordinator (Core Lab)
About The Position
Suburban Hospital is a 228-bed, not-for-profit, community-based hospital in Bethesda, Maryland. Suburban Hospital is a member of Johns Hopkins Medicine and has served Montgomery County and the surrounding area for more than 65 years. Position Summary: Assists department manager to coordinate the operational and technical activities of the point of care testing, resolving problems, and ensures compliance with government and private regulatory and accreditation agencies.
Requirements
- Education: A baccalaureate degree (B.S.) in Medical Technology or related science is required
- Work Experience: One to three years of clinical laboratory experience
- Experience in Core Lab preferred
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: MT (ASCP) or equivalent is required
- Authorization to Work in the United States: Applicants who require sponsorship now or in the future will not be considered for this position.
