About The Position
The Windsor Court seeks a skilled and experienced Bartender/Server to join our team. Associates are expected to prepare food and drink orders, serve beverages and meals to guests as regulated by the Louisiana state and federal age requirements, and coordinate The Pool Bar's duties.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food and drink orders to guests in a timely and efficient manner
- Ensure compliance with state and federal age requirements for serving alcoholic beverages
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including The Bar and pool surrounding areas
- Prepare drinks and serve food according to recipes and hotel standards.
- Coordinate The Pool Bar duties, including upselling and promotions
- Provide excellent customer service to all patrons, ensuring a positive experience
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
- Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as needed
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
- Ensures tips are reported properly for tax processing.
- Attempts to limit problems and liability related to customers' excessive drinking by taking steps such as discontinuing alcohol service and notifying management of potential problem(s).
