Job Overview: The Pool Cleaner is responsible for servicing and maintaining residential and commercial swimming pools to ensure proper water quality, equipment functionality, and overall cleanliness. This role also ensures pool areas are maintained in a safe, clean, and orderly condition while upholding all safety standards and company policies.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record (MVR)
  • Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds regularly
  • Ability to work outdoors for extended periods, including in extreme weather conditions
  • Dependable, reliable, and responsive with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Must successfully pass a drug screening and background check

Nice To Haves

  • Prior pool service experience preferred; training available for the right candidate
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain an assigned weekly pool service route
  • Test and balance water chemistry, including adjusting chlorination and other chemical levels
  • Clean and backwash filters; brush, vacuum, and skim pools
  • Remove debris from pool surfaces and floors and clean pool tiles
  • Inspect and support the general upkeep of pool equipment to ensure proper operation
  • Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and team members to deliver exceptional service
  • Maintain accurate service records and complete required company documentation
  • Uphold a professional appearance and maintain clean, organized job sites
  • Perform additional duties and assignments as directed by management
