About The Position

Love being outdoors? Curious how customer relationships actually work behind the scenes? This summer internship gives you the best of both worlds — hands-on outdoor work and real exposure to account management, inspections, and customer communication. You won’t just be shadowing. You’ll be learning, doing, and contributing from day one. hat You’ll Be Doing Out in the Field (Most Days) Cruise a daily service route performing standard pool maintenance. Keep pools looking great while working safely and efficiently. Document what you see and communicate updates to the Account Manager team. Behind the Scenes (About 2 Days a Week) Help organize and document pool inspection items (yes, the details matter!). Support Account Managers with customer follow-ups, including: Visiting sites to check on specific issues Taking photos, gathering information, and creating clear summary notes Keep records organized so nothing falls through the cracks. What You’ll Learn How inspections really work (and how to prepare for them). How Account Managers communicate with customers and solve real problems. How service operations and customer relationships connect behind the scenes. What it’s like to balance field work with office responsibilities. Later in the summer, you’ll tag along on inspections and customer meetings to see the full picture. You’re a Great Fit If You: Like being active and don’t mind getting a little sun. Pay, Perks and Practical Details $20 per hour with a 35-45 hour work week; working 5-7 days a week. If selected for an interview, scheduling preferences will be discussed. Due to the nature of our business, flexibility in schedule is important. We start early in the pool business with start times ranging between 6-7 am. $30 monthly cell phone reimbursement Valid Driver's License is required with the option to drive a company vehicle or receive a $500 auto allowance and gas card for driving a personal vehicle. If driving a personal vehicle, proof of personal insurance will be required. Physically able to perform and lift up to 50lbs. Comfortable handling chemicals Work outdoors in variety of conditions (heat, rain, storm, etc.) Requirements This internship is designed for current college students who want real-world experience beyond the classroom in the aquatics industry.
