About The Position

The Postal Affairs & Postage Operations Manager serves as Enru’s subject matter authority on USPS Marketing Mail, postage pricing, classifications, and regulatory requirements. This role ensures our internally developed postage engines, operational processes, and customer communications remain accurate, compliant, and aligned with evolving USPS guidance.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in USPS postal operations, postage, or postal affairs
  • Deep expertise in USPS Marketing Mail rules, pricing, incentives, and classifications
  • Demonstrated participation in USPS-sponsored or industry forums and working groups
  • Proven ability to translate USPS regulatory change into business, system, and customer impact
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Prior USPS employment or direct experience working with USPS stakeholders
  • Experience supporting proprietary postage or pricing engines
  • Background in postal optimization, logistics, or mail technology platforms

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Enru’s primary USPS Marketing Mail expert across pricing, rules, and classifications
  • Monitor, analyze, and interpret USPS regulatory, operational, and pricing changes
  • Actively participate in USPS and industry forums such as MTAC and Marketing Mail events
  • Translate USPS changes into requirements for internal postage calculation and pricing engines
  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to implement, test, and validate postage logic updates
  • Maintain governance and quality control over postage accuracy
  • Develop customer-facing communications explaining USPS changes and customer impact
  • Collaborate with Marketing on blogs, LinkedIn posts, and market updates
  • Serve as internal escalation point for complex postal and postage-related inquiries
