About The Position

The Postdoctoral Research Associate, under general supervision, conducts research within their area of expertise and applies the knowledge and skills gained through their education and experience to complete assigned research projects. They analyze data, contribute to research papers, articles, and publications, and assist with maintaining and preparing the worksite. The Postdoctoral Research Associate may also collaborate with other researchers and faculty as needed.

Requirements

• Appropriate Ph.D in a related field.
• Ability to lift and/or move medium weight objects.

Responsibilities

• Conducts research within their field of expertise under general supervision, applying knowledge and skills gained through education and experience to complete research projects.
• Analyzes research data, summarizes results, and contributes to research papers, articles, and publications.
• Assists with preparing and maintaining the worksite, including general cleaning and workspace organization.
• Prepares presentation materials on research topics for delivery to both small and large audiences.
• Participates in preparing required technical progress reports for research sponsors.
• May assist, mentor, or supervise student researchers and/or graduate students working on related research projects.
