About The Position

Join Our Leadership Team at NorthStar Medical Management! Practice Administrator — Rocky Mountain Eye Center, P.C. Location: Missoula, MT (On-site) Schedule: Monday–Friday Compensation: $90,000–$130,000 annually (DOE) + comprehensive benefits NorthStar is a physician-owned healthcare management organization based in Missoula, Montana. It provides executive oversight and administrative support for multiple specialty clinics, including Rocky Mountain Eye Center and Rocky Mountain Ear, Nose & Throat Center. NorthStar is seeking an experienced and motivated Practice Administrator to lead operations at Rocky Mountain Eye Center , a high-volume ophthalmology practice providing comprehensive medical and surgical eye care. This role is ideal for a strategic, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced specialty environment and understands the unique operational needs of an eye clinic. The Practice Administrator will oversee the day-to-day operations of the clinic, ensuring efficient workflows, regulatory compliance, and a high standard of patient care. This position will work closely with clinic staff and leadership to provide direct oversight and support to department managers, optimize staffing and scheduling, and drive financial and operational performance across the practice. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, highly organized, and experienced in leading multidisciplinary teams within a specialty practice setting. A proven ability to improve processes, enhance patient experience, and support provider productivity will be key to success in this role. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Previous healthcare operations or clinic management experience strongly required
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management experience highly preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, financial analysis, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic healthcare setting

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or MHA preferred but not required
  • Experience in Ophthalmic clinical setting with ancillary services (e.g. optical and contact lens dispensaries, diagnostic imaging) preferred
