About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Pre-Op/PACU Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, organized, and skilled in preparing patients for surgery and providing attentive post-anesthesia recovery care. If you thrive in a fast-paced surgical environment and are committed to excellent patient outcomes, we’d love to hear from you. HOURS: Monday- Friday 0630-1500. Participation in the weekend shift rotation, with at least one Saturday and Sunday shift per month is required.

Requirements

HS diploma or GED, required
Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Florida, required
Current BCLS certification and current ACLS certification required

Responsibilities

Perform pre-operative patient assessments, verify consents, and prepare patients for procedures.
Start IVs and administer medications as ordered, including sedation support.
Monitor patients in the recovery phase, including vital signs and response to anesthesia.
Manage post-procedure symptoms such as pain or nausea and provide patient education.
Document care, coordinate with the clinical team, and ensure patients meet discharge criteria before release.
