About The Position
Nu3s Market Café is hiring a part‑time Prep/Line Cook to support daily kitchen operations at our new location in Queens. We’re looking for someone who knows the pace and rhythm of a QSR or café kitchen and can jump in wherever needed to keep service running smoothly.
Requirements
- Experience working in a QSR, café, fast‑casual, or high‑volume kitchen
- Strong understanding of basic cooking techniques and food safety
- Ability to follow recipes, stay organized, and multitask during busy periods
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment
- Flexible availability (mornings, afternoons, weekends, holidays)
Nice To Haves
- ServSafe certification is a plus
Responsibilities
- Prep ingredients and cook menu items according to company recipes
- Support line cooking during service and assist across all kitchen stations
- Maintain food safety, cleanliness, and café‑level hygiene standards
- Assist with inventory, deliveries, and general kitchen organization
- Help with dishwashing and back‑of‑house tasks as needed
- Work as part of a small, collaborative team focused on quality and efficiency
