Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Presales Systems Engineer to support the largest State, Local Government, and Education (SLED) accounts in Los Angeles County. This role focuses on named accounts, requiring deep technical expertise and strong relationship-building skills to position HPE Networking solutions, including Aruba and Juniper portfolios, as the foundation for digital transformation in public sector environments. This role will be supporting the greater San Bernadino region.

Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years in networking or IT infrastructure, with at least 3 years in a presales or customer-facing technical role. Proven experience supporting SLED accounts or large enterprise customers.
• Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of network design principles, routing/switching, wireless, security, and SD-WAN. Familiarity with cloud-managed networking, automation, and AI-driven operations.
• Certifications: Aruba, Juniper, or equivalent industry certifications (e.g., CCNP, JNCIP) strongly preferred.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
• Location: Candidates must reside in the greater San Bernadino region and have the ability to travel to customer sites within the assigned territory on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Account Coverage: Serve as the primary technical resource for strategic SLED accounts in Los Angeles County.
• Solution Expertise: Provide technical leadership across the combined HPE Networking portfolio—Aruba wired/wireless, ClearPass, Central, Juniper switching, routing, security, and automation.
• Presales Engagement: Collaborate with account teams to understand customer requirements, deliver technical presentations, and create solution proposals.
• Solution Architecture: Design complex networking solutions tailored to public sector needs, including compliance and security requirements.
• Proof of Concept (POC): Lead POCs and solution validation activities to demonstrate value and performance.
• Strategic Influence: Act as a trusted advisor to senior IT leaders in government and education organizations.
• Partner Collaboration: Work closely with channel partners to ensure successful solution positioning and adoption.
