About The Position

As a Pressroom Stamping Supervisor, you’ll be part of our Willard, Ohio team working as an onsite employee. You’ll get to: Supervise all stamping activities, including: Press operation, tooling, robotics, die setting, setup of new jobs, and changeovers (SMED) Quality inspections and appropriate tagging Place and track orders in MRO Coordinate schedules, follow up on assignments, and train new operators as needed Assist in the selection, qualification, and development of all Press Room personnel Understand and ensure the safe operation of all equipment in the Press Room Collaborate with facility departments to provide input and direction for production operations Assist in the development of new production processes and engineering changes Develop methods to encourage and maintain productive teamwork within the department Identify, maintain, and continue to upgrade all training and educational needs of personnel in the Press Room Provide timely, unbiased, and effective performance evaluations for Press Room personnel Maintain all documentation required to establish trends, monitor cost effectiveness, track labor force, and schedule accordingly Aggressively reduce rework and scrap to improve profit margin Maintain quality and production standards according to ISO and company procedures Time and attendance, and/or other related approvals using the appropriate software (e.g. UKG, Workday) Recognize concerns and identify opportunities for continuous improvement Active participation with the SBD Organizational Excellence (MOE) program

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience with tooling, stamping, and robotics
  • 3+ years of leadership experience required
  • Strong understanding of SBD Willard policies and procedures
  • Must have a valid lift truck operators license or successfully complete lift truck training
  • Must possess the experience and knowledge to effectively manage and direct all Press Room related activities
  • Proven experience with project development and management through successful completion
  • High level of organizational and time management skills
  • Adept with Microsoft Office software
  • Ability to inspire and motivate others
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
