It is a regional distributor of CNC machine tools, tooling and accessories, and related engineering and support services. We are seeking a motivated Preventative Maintenance Technician willing to learn. This role will provide exciting opportunities to work for a multidimensional company in a fast-paced, growing industry. The Preventative Maintenance Technician will have a basic understanding of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to successfully provide scheduled maintenance of CNC production equipment through the use of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment. Duties include but are not limited to. Daily travel from home to Customer facilities with occasional overnight hotel stays required when servicing remote Customer locations within the designated coverage territory or when participating in remote training programs. Demonstrating a desire to help others and be a team member. Applying machine tool manuals, technical documents, internal and vendor resources to research machine parts and service. Provide a direct communication link between the Customer and the Morris Service Group. Aligning with safety laws and maintaining a clean, orderly work area. Promoting and performing preventative maintenance on customer machine tool equipment and conducting maintenance training to customer employees. Possessing and maintaining an in-depth knowledge of machine tool industry and product lines represented by the company. Through service and Customer relationships, build brand dedication. Conduct travel and work in a safe manner, constantly learning new technology and soft skills.
