Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field
  • Over 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Strong technical proficiency in pricing software and systems, including ERP systems and pricing management platforms
  • Solid understanding of data management principles, including data entry and quality assurance
  • Experience in training and user support, with the ability to develop training materials and conduct training sessions
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Proficiency in analyzing complex data sets to extract meaningful insights and troubleshoot system issues and data discrepancies
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with the capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with analytical tools such as Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, Python, or Alteryx is advantageous

Responsibilities

  • Utilize internal systems to extract and analyze data, informing pricing strategies
  • Engage with branch and district managers to gather specific market data
  • Assist branch and sales teams in understanding and implementing established pricing processes
  • Collaborate with the Supply Chain department to ensure the prompt integration of cost adjustments into our systems
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics related to pricing
  • Generate routine reports to support strategic pricing initiatives
  • Conduct analyses to understand pricing dynamics across various products, identifying opportunities for revenue enhancement and addressing profit margin issues
