Purpose of Role The Capital Markets - Prime Services Intern supports the analysis and delivery of business and client requirements for electronic trading and clearing within Marex Prime Services. The role is responsible for assisting with system and data integration initiatives, collaborating closely with the Technology Solutions group to implement effective technical solutions. It also supports Prime Brokerage, Clearing, Outsourced Trading, and Security‑Based Swaps Dealer functions while contributing to process improvements and seamless technology deployment across the platform.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance or information systems / technology data science is preferred but business administration, business analytics, and software engineering are accepted.
  • Genuine interest in one or more of the program’s departmental tracks.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship, including, but not limited to, F-1, J-1, and M-1 visa holders, as well as individuals on CPT or OPT.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and support business and client requirements for electronic trading and clearing.
  • Assist with system and data integration projects within Marex Prime Services.
  • Collaborate with the Technology Solutions group to deliver technical solutions.
  • Provide support for Prime Brokerage, Clearing, Outsourced Trading, and Security-Based Swaps Dealer functions.
  • Contribute to process improvements and ensure seamless technology implementation.
  • Role model for demonstrating highest level standards of integrity and conduct and reflecting Company Values.
  • At all times complying with Marex’s Code of Conduct.
  • To ensure that you are fully aware of and adhere to internal policies that relate to you, your role or any other activities for which you have any level of responsibility.
  • To report any breaches of policy to Compliance and/or your supervisor as required.
  • To escalate risk events immediately.
  • To provide input to risk management processes, as required.
