Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in large organizations
  • Demonstrated proficiency in technical solutions, vendor product knowledge, managing vendor relations, and implementing solutions
  • Advanced data and metrics orientation: building instruments, defining KPIs, and using analytics to drive executive decisions.
  • Proven track record of simplifying and rationalizing systems and processes at enterprise scale.
  • Advanced expertise in stakeholder management, establishing productive relationships, and driving beneficial outcomes aligned with firm objectives
  • Deep familiarity with front-to-back processes in capital markets or transaction processing environments, STP design, and operational risk/control frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee complex technology project and program execution, managing resources, budgets, and timelines while mitigating risks and addressing roadblocks
  • Champion continuous improvement by identifying process optimization opportunities, incorporating best practices, and staying abreast of emerging technologies
  • Establish and run multi-layer governance (workstreams, cross-functional forums, SteerCo), ensuring decisions are data-driven and risk-focused.
  • Foster strong relationships with front office, operations, technology and support functions; unblock execution and resolve conflict.
  • Implement measurable, enterprise-grade risk management approach that quantifies open risk and demonstrates the relationship between business scale, safety, and control effectiveness.
  • Maintain a living risk register with quantified, prioritized open risks and clear owners, timelines, and mitigation paths.
  • Empower teams to surface risks quickly; create safe escalation channels and support solutioning
