About The Position

The Print Shop Production Technician is a supportive role to the current digital
printing and wide-format production environment. The position is responsible for
completing assigned tasks in order to fulfill the daily production workload of
print requests. The position reads and follows written work orders, locates
stock in a warehouse environment, and stock/paper handling as required for
digital and wide format printing. The position utilizes digital printing presses
per an established PDF workflow, upholding production standards through
bindery/finishing/manufacturing production and utilizes paper scoring, cutting,
padding, jogging, folding and drilling machines appropriate per the required
task. The Print Shop Production Technician is responsible for wide format
finishing including trimming, cutting, paper and vinyl output, banners,
laminating, mounting on various substrates and packaging finished products for
delivery to fill print requests.
