Pro Tem Research Assistant/Associate/Postdoctoral Scholar (Linguistics) - Open Pool
About The Position
The Linguistics Department at the University of Oregon invites applications for a Pro Tem Research Assistant, Research Associate and Postdoctoral Scholar pool. Applications will be reviewed as research opportunities develop. These positions are funding-contingent and temporary in nature, potentially renewable for up to a total of three years. In limited circumstances, there is the possibility of renewal beyond three years based on programmatic need, funding, and performance. Postdoctoral Scholar appointees will conduct research under the direction of a faculty member for the purpose of acquiring research training.
Requirements
- To qualify for the rank of Research Assistant (Type B): Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics or related field
- To qualify for the rank of Research Assistant (Type C): Master’s degree in Linguistics or related field
- To qualify for the rank of Research Associate: PhD in Linguistics or related field
- To qualify for the rank of Postdoctoral Scholar: PhD in Linguistics or related field
- All offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a background check.
