In the role of Barley Program Procurement Coordinator working in Huntley, MT you will analyze barley samples based on MCBC quality parameters for inbound purchases and outbound shipments. In addition, you will be responsible for office management, data management, and the accounting process of the elevator.
Additional responsibilities include basic tasks at our barley elevator which may include housekeeping of grain dust and participation in our safety program. This is a role that requires attention to detail and prioritization of daily activities. You will also need to be able to build and maintain good working relationships with fellow coworkers, barley growers and business partners.
This position reports to the Montana Regional Manager and works closely with other cross functional teams.

Requirements

• You have a High School Diploma or GED
• You have at least 1 year of experience in Microsoft Office Suite
• You have excellent attention to detail, with the ability to produce quality work with minimal errors.
• Adaptability and the ability to shift focus and pivot focus when a quick response is needed to change in organizational priorities
• You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities
• You build relationships and collaborate to get to the desired outcome

Responsibilities

• Ensure the purchase of Barley is within MCBC quality parameters
• Keep accurate barley bookkeeping records
• Manage Data
• Maintain adequate office and laboratory supplies
• Record Management
• Assist with tasks in the elevator as needed
• Ensure safety processes, procedures and records
