About The Position

As a Product Enablement Data Engineer at Cato Networks, you will design, generate, and manage realistic data feeds that power our cloud-managed networking and security platform. This role focuses on creating synthetic yet highly realistic traffic, attack simulations, and telemetry pipelines that replicate real-world customer environments. Your work will enable compelling demos, proof-of-value engagements, and hands-on lab experiences that showcase the full capabilities of the Cato platform. You will collaborate closely with lab engineers, content developers, product management, engineering, and sales engineering teams to deliver scalable and reliable data-driven enablement solutions.

  • Strong programming skills in Python
  • Experience working with REST APIs and authentication workflows
  • Experience building or supporting penetration testing or security simulation workflows
  • Hands-on experience with Azure (AWS is a plus)
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform
  • Experience generating network traffic using tools like Scapy, tcpreplay, or iperf
  • Strong knowledge of Linux environments and networking tools (tcpdump, curl, netstat, etc.)
  • PowerShell scripting experience for Windows automation and system provisioning
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, TLS)
