The Advanced Structures team leverages advanced materials and additive manufacturing to develop complex interior and exterior solutions. These solutions ensure structural integrity of the aircraft, help aircraft take off and land, stay trim in the air, move forward, carry cargo and conduct rescues. We are looking for the best and brightest to fly and land with us! Immerse yourself in a full-time, Monday-Friday co-op session, that will run May/June- December (including the Fall semester; it is expected students will take a semester off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity). This position will hybrid at the Aguadilla site. Candidates must reside in Puerto Rico during the CO-OP period.

Requirements

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Responsibilities

  • Learn about planning, design, development, and testing of mechanical systems.
  • Participate in product development activities, designs, or sketches, following all appropriate Mechanical Engineering design, safety, and qualification standards.
  • Support product development activities including implementation of standard specifications, and development of performance requirements.
  • Collaborate with professional employees to perform activities across several disciplines.
