Analyzing and problem-solving of design-related issues affecting production. Hands-on support with line trials, concept validation, and implementation of hardware changes. Steering and organizing line-trials in collaboration with design and production. Directing problem-solving teams within the plant as a design representative. Keeping our team Confluence (Wiki) content up to date. Running and steering projects and problem-solving teams to address unforeseen production challenges. The qualified intern should expect to contribute & improve in the following functions: Training on BMW specific systems and processes such as: gAMS 3D Concepts MatrX PRISMA LTERM PSBOMHUB TAIS CATIA Deep insights into production processes in the areas of powertrain and driving dynamics. Component level hands-on experience. Mediation of cultural differences and opposing targets. Development of problem-solving mentality and skillset. Openness and determination in finding and implementing the best solutions for BMW.
