Internship Program: HealthEdge offers a structured paid 12-week virtual internship program that will allow you to help drive meaningful and strategic project work that delivers real impact to our teams, customers, and business, while having fun along the way! You will support the Technology team and will also get exposure to various departments and strategic initiatives through our Discover HealthEdge weekly series. Interns will also participate in our three-day Innovation Challenge and a final internship project presentation to showcase the impact you’ve made. Additionally, we provide workshops focused on resume writing, LinkedIn profiles, interview preparation, and more!
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering, or related major
- Experience coding across various programming languages (Java, Ruby on Rails, Python, etc.)
- Completion of at least one programming language course as part of degree program
- Resourceful
- Team oriented
- Able to work independently as well as with a team
- Eager to learn
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers to design, build, and test new product features that improve performance, reliability, or user experience.
- Assist with writing clean, well‑structured code under the guidance of senior engineers and participate in code reviews to learn best practices.
- Help investigate and troubleshoot bugs by reviewing logs, replicating issues, and validating fixes.
- Support sprint planning and daily stand‑ups by documenting tasks, updating tickets, and organizing technical notes.
- Contribute to small engineering projects such as refactoring legacy code, improving internal tools, or automating routine processes.
