About The Position

Cisco Silicon One™ is redefining networking silicon and setting new industry standards for decades to come. We are seeking a New Product Program Manager to join our dynamic SiOps team, build and manage ASIC production level resiliency programs such as: Alternate Qualifications, ReSpins, Substrate Qualifications, Engineering Change Programs,and other production phase support programs, ensuring best-in-class operational excellence. Your Impact As a New Product Program Manager (NPPM), you will be responsible for driving the successful delivery of end to end programs supporting Silicon One Product families. You will partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, Test, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to ensure on-time delivery, quality, and cost objectives are met. This role requires strong program management skills, technical savvy, and the ability to influence and coordinate across multiple organizations.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of program management experience in semiconductor, hardware, or high-tech product development.
  • Demonstrated history of successfully supporting launched Silicon Products
  • Experience with new product introduction (NPI) processes and product lifecycle management.
  • Hands-on knowledge of silicon/system development flows: architecture, design, verification, product/test engineering, and lifecycle management.
  • Experience translating customer requirements into actionable engineering landmarks.
  • Familiarity with hardware/system design, testing, and production engineering.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field; Master's degree preferred.
  • PMP, Agile, or similar project management certification.
  • Experience with silicon product development, ASIC/SoC, or hardware manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with supply chain operations, quality/reliability testing, and manufacturing process flows.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma or equivalent process innovation/management.
  • Experience using program management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira).
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Program Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams through delivery of required production level programs.
  • Schedule Management: Develop, maintain, and communicate detailed program schedules, landmarks, and deliverables.
  • Risk Management: Identify and proactively manage program risks, ensuring timely mitigation plans are in place.
  • Partner Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for program status, updates, and critical issues to senior management and interested parties.
  • Lifecycle Ownership: Own all aspects of program lifecycle: schedules, interlocks, communication, and sustaining handoffs.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering, Test, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Marketing to ensure alignment and resolve issues.
  • Cost and Quality Targets: Ensure products meet established cost, quality, and reliability targets at each development stage.
  • Operational Rigor: Monitor adherence to Plan of Record (POR), manage changes, and ensure alignment with schedule, quality, and cost targets.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and present program status reports, post-mortems, and lessons learned to leadership.
  • Program Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives in program execution, employing best practices and lessons learned.
