About The Position

A Product Line Manager (PLM) oversees a specific group of related products within a company, managing their entire lifecycle from development to market success. The role involves strategic planning, product development, market analysis, and performance monitoring. The role emphasizes both near-term and long-term Profit and Loss responsibility for the product line. PLMs must have a systems view of their line, orchestrating opportunities across the full set of products to improve cash flow, increase customer satisfaction, and outperform competitors

Requirements

  • Must possess a comprehensive understanding of product solutions, data center technologies/solutions, and a sufficient understand of storage area network solutions
  • Proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications required
  • Strong organizational skills and capability of managing multiple tasks
  • Professional: Ability to exhibit and maintain professionalism and integrity in accordance with corporate standards
  • Analytical: Ability to analyze, develop, and make sound business transaction decisions with minimal supervision
  • Multi-tasking: Ability to handle multiple tasks with concentration, speed, and accuracy, and to prioritize tasks appropriately
  • PLMs need a combination of technical, business, and interpersonal skills.
  • PLMs typically require a bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, engineering, or a related field, along with several years of industry experience.
