Job Summary The Product Owner is responsible for collaborating with the line of business, customer and technical stakeholders, while owning and managing the product backlog for a specific product of feature set. The Product Owner will drive product execution and ensure delivery aligns with business and stakeholder outcomes. The ideal Product Owner will be able to understand customer needs, translates customer/stakeholder objectives into defined epics, features and user stories. He/she will steward roadmaps, required integrations, data and architectural pattern adherence, manage backlogs, and assess team outputs. They will contribute to the vision and roadmap on behalf of their product, while representing the external and internal voice of the customer. They will also assess team outputs and ensures adequacy against requirements. This role is responsible for overall health and maturity of domain specific technology application; manages total cost of ownership within target ranges, optimizes applications/platform offerings; ensures architectural position of best use is adhered to. Oversees vendor engagement and performance, as well as ensures adequate short-and-long range platform / application strategy has required resources (people, etc.).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
  • 5+ Years relevant experience leading variety of medium to large programs.
  • 3 years in Product Owner roles using Agile/Scrum

Responsibilities

  • Owns and prioritizes the product backlog, ensuring alignment to business objectives, customer needs, and regulatory or compliance constraints.
  • Acts as the voice of the customer, translating stakeholder input, market insights, and user feedback into clear, actionable user stories and backlog items.
  • Represents business and customer needs with clarity and depth, bridging strategic goals with team-level delivery through well-defined, outcome-driven priorities.
  • Communicates and makes decisions with confidence and clarity, ensuring that value expectations and scope changes are transparent and agreed upon throughout delivery cycles.
  • Collaborates with the Team-of-Teams. Leads to align on execution priorities and delivery goals, while proactively helping to remove blockers and support delivery flow.
  • Continuously assesses team outputs against requirements, ensuring delivered features meet intended outcomes, acceptance criteria, and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Monitors product health and viability, balancing short-term delivery pressures with long-term vision, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability of the product roadmap.
  • Oversees a broader product domain or multiple related features.
  • Sets product vision and roadmap within a domain.
  • Influences cross-functional teams and contributes to business strategy.
  • Balances tactical execution with strategic planning; handles more ambiguous problems.
