Position Overview Our Product Management team at Zelis Healthcare is seeking an experienced and highly collaborative Program Manager to support the successful delivery of large product releases and strategic initiatives. This role will report through Product Management and partner closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, Operations, and other cross-functional stakeholders to ensure organizational readiness, clear execution, and strong cross-team alignment. As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for orchestrating complex, multi-workstream initiatives—owning operational readiness, managing cross-team dependencies, and ensuring that delivery milestones, risks, and communications are proactively managed. This role is critical to ensuring that product launches and strategic initiatives are executed smoothly and deliver intended business outcomes. We are looking for someone who excels at connecting teams, driving clarity, and translating strategy into execution in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience supporting product development, technology platforms, or large cross-functional initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex programs with multiple teams, dependencies, and stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of product development lifecycles and Agile delivery frameworks
  • Proven ability to partner effectively with Product Managers and Engineering leaders to drive execution
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to synthesize complex information for diverse audiences and senior leadership
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and detail-oriented approach
  • Experience supporting operational readiness and launch activities for large product releases
  • Proficiency with program and project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or similar
  • A self-starter who is intellectually curious, adaptable, and comfortable navigating ambiguity

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in healthcare, fintech, or regulated industries is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the central point of coordination for large product releases and strategic initiatives, ensuring operational readiness across Product, Engineering, Sales, Operations, and other stakeholders
  • Partner closely with Product Managers to align program plans with product strategy, roadmaps, and business priorities
  • Develop and manage integrated program plans, including timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, and mitigation strategies
  • Identify, track, and manage cross-team dependencies, escalating risks and tradeoffs as needed to ensure on-time delivery
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and decision-making across Product, Engineering, Sales, Operations, Marketing, Customer Success, and other teams
  • Drive launch readiness activities, including go-to-market coordination, enablement planning, operational handoffs, and post-launch validation
  • Establish and maintain clear communication rhythms, status reporting, and executive-level updates for key initiatives
  • Support intake, prioritization, and sequencing of work for complex initiatives in partnership with Product and Engineering leadership
  • Ensure alignment to Agile delivery practices while supporting teams through planning, execution, and delivery cycles
  • Capture lessons learned and continuously improve program execution and delivery processes
