About The Position

International SOS Government Services is seeking a Medical Capability Report (MCR) Specialist to join our dynamic Medical Readiness team in San Antonio, TX. The MCR Specialist, working under direction from the Head of Medical Readiness, MCR Manager and MCR Medical Director, will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of MCRs by gathering medical, facility and logistics information for geographical locations, from various resources and engaging both internal and external stakeholders in the preparation of the MCRs.

Requirements

  • Internet and database research and investigative skills

  • Excellent client-facing communication skills
  • Excellent standard of written and spoken English, including good spelling and grammar
  • Written and spoken competency in Spanish is preferred
  • Attention to detail and ability to focus on texts that may be lengthy

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Previous experience in International SOS Network Services is beneficial
  • Certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Prepare medical capability reports, following set procedures, working to set Key Performance Indicators
  • Ensure reports are carefully reviewed and published through copy editing, proof reading and formatting
  • Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of the MCR requirements and relevant data set to populate
  • Develop knowledge of and leverage from internal systems (e.g. SPIN) to gather clinical and travel data
  • Perform desktop research and contact network providers/medical facilities to obtain outstanding clinical and transformation logistics information
  • Engage internal stakeholders to provide additional information on cities, airfields, facilities and public health, and manage their quality approval confirmation
  • Drive company-wide data quality initiative through maintaining internal systems with updated data gathered through the MCR process
  • Utilize Artificial Intelligence (AI) to drive increased efficiency, accuracy, quality, and production
