A Production Coordinator will be responsible for enabling the peak efficiency of the team they support by working intricately with BETA’s ERP system, ensuring part traceability, labor hour accuracy, and tooling accountability. You will perform daily hands-on production assembly tasks while also devoting time to refine manufacturing process layouts, continuously improving quality and throughput to align with high level business goals. You will work closely with your peers to thread design changes from ongoing product development efforts seamlessly into existing build processes. How you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation: Work closely with the Quality team to be sure assemblies meet QMS standards Engage and develop relationships with other supporting manufacturing teams to ensure on-time delivery of aircraft Hands-on support for technicians when needed enabling them to stay on task, increasing overall productivity Report on the progress of production jobs, in-process quality control inspection tasks, feeling comfortable identifying and raising concern about process deviations and being an integral part of any troubleshooting efforts to solve them Maintaining accurate and clear manufacturing documentation in compliance with both internal and external quality systems or regulations. Documentation to include up-to-date assembly process documentation as well as process data (fastener torque, electrical checks, etc.). The candidate should have a drive for organization such that build processes and manufacturing data can easily be audited Assisting with coordination of regular inspection, cleaning, and servicing on manufacturing equipment to keep operations running flawlessly Auditing of maintenance logs for all machines, tools, and calibration dates to ensure documentation completeness Providing regular productivity reports, and incident reports as needed Assisting with tooling maintenance and repair processes to ensure maintenance timing aligns with production goals Using all mandated safety equipment and comply with all safety requirements in accordance with company and government regulations and guidelines Taking a lead role for 6S, tool control, and FOD related activities Assist in Master Kit Reviews for all incoming jobs for the battery repair line Provide help in the movement of Suspect materials and WIP to and from storage locations and production line to RMA locations Communicate with the team on ECR and PCR deployment ensuring that the correct cutover is achieved, and manufacturing understands the changes Coordinating with Production Planning to assist with Job creation and production readiness Assist with general manufacturing obstacles, addressing help tickets submitted by production technicians, as well as ERP related issues Assist in tracking gauge and tool calibration dates and IDs working with Calibration QC to ensure only Up to Date calibrated tools are available on the production line Assist in removal of expired materials from storage locations and work centers with the Materials team
